I am a respiratory and sleep physician from Adelaide. I was born in Iran and migrated to Australia as a teen with my family in 1991. I studied medicine at the University of Adelaide and undertook basic physician training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. I completed my training in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine at Flinders Medical Center and the Repatriation General Hospital. I received my sleep accreditation after completing a year of training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
I worked as a Respiratory and Sleep physician at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for 13 years. Sleep Medicine has been my number one passion throughout my career. In 2022, I decided to concentrate more on sleep medicine on an outpatient basis.
In November 2022, my husband and I established Complete Sleep Care. This is a medical sleep centre which concentrates on the diagnosis and management of sleep disordered breathing. As the field of sleep medicine is growing rapidly, treatment options are becoming more versatile and sophisticated. Complete Sleep Care is where not only patients undergo home-based sleep studies but also their treatment is individually tailored to meet their expectations and needs. We work closely with dentists, surgeons and suppliers of both non-invasive ventilation devices as well as other conservative modes of therapy. The patients are followed up closely throughout their therapeutic journey both by myself and experienced staff.
